School Events

Throughout the school year, MSP and the MSP PTO host several events for our school community. Events range from a Fall Festival on campus to Gala off campus, which includes an art show, auctions and catered dinner. Students perform throughout the year, including putting on winter performances and end of the year ceremonies. Middle School students present projects and plays in conjunction with their studies. MSP’s open-door policy invites parents to visit the classrooms at any time. We also host special times for parents, such as Moms’ Week, Dads’ Week, Family Nights, and Grandparents’ Day.

Fall Festival

Fall Festival is a yearly fundraiser.  This Saturday family event includes games, a toy and book exchange, food, and entertainment.  Tickets for booths are sold and the proceeds contribute to PTO funds.

Gala

Started in 2008, in honor of the school’s 30th anniversary, Gala has become the PTO’s biggest fundraiser. There is a silent auction with items ranging from massages to condo rentals.  Each classroom creates art pieces for a live auction.   This adult-only evening event is a great chance for parents to socialize.

Minithon

Every year MSP students participate in the Mini-thon.  For this fundraiser, students run laps for pledges.  The MSP Mini-thon tradition includes tie-dyed shirts, a potluck “feast”, and ribbons for each student.  Middle School students help at both campuses with setting up the running routes and counting laps for students.

Student Art Show

Started in 2016, the MSP Art Show happens on the Montessori Drive campus and allows students, families, staff, and friends to see artwork on display from every child in the school.
