Clubs & Organizations

Montessori Model United Nations:  7th and 8th grade students have the option of participating in this extra-curricular group.  The students are assigned a country each year to represent on a trip to New York in the Spring, where they present resolutions in the United Nations building.

MathCounts:  6th, 7th, and 8th grade students may choose to take part in this afterschool club.  They practice math problems as a team and as individuals in preparation for a regional competition.  Our 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 teams placed at regionals and traveled to Orlando for the state contest.

Girl Scouts:  MSP has active Daisy, Brownie and Junior Girl Scout troops.  Parent volunteers lead the groups that meet on Friday after school.

Cub Scouts:  Started for the 2012-2013 school year, MSP now has a troop of 1st-5th graders that meet on Monday evenings.
