Tennis Coach – Montessori Drive campus
Rick is originally from Georgia, but was raised in Pensacola. He graduated from Escambia High School and went on to UWF, graduating with a B.A. in Physical Education in 1987. He has one son and one daughter. Rick has been coaching tennis for 15 years and loves working with the students at Montessori and seeing their improvements in tennis skills.
Elementary music teacher – Montessori Drive campus
Fred is originally from Groton, Connecticut, has performed, toured and recorded with international artists such as Pacific St. Records founder and pianist Eric Doney, bassist Will Lee, and GRP artist Scott Jarrett. He is a founding member of the jazz group “The Guffman Trio.” He is a prolific songwriter and lyricist and continues to collaborate with award winning songwriters from the East Coast and West Coast. He is currently on staff as an adjunct professor of percussion and Jazz Band/Jazz Workshop director at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville, Florida and works as a freelance studio session musician. His professional affiliations include Florida Music Educators Association, Florida Collegiate Music Educators Association, Florida Jazz Educators Association, Jazz Education Network, Film Musicians Secondary Markets Fund, and the American Federation of Musicians Union #389. He is endorsed by Silverfox Drumsticks, Dream Cymbals and Taye Drums. His daughter attends MSP.
Elementary typing and technology teacher – Montessori Drive campus
Tricia graduated from UWF in 1995 with a bachelors degree in primary and elementary education and went on to serve children and families within the Navy’s Child and Youth Programs. She began teaching at MSP in 2011 and enjoys coming to school each day with her own two children who are enrolled in the program. During her off time she enjoys creating pottery, reading and everything the local beaches have to offer!

She has been with MSP since 2007. Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, she has a BS Degree in Latin American and Caribbean Affairs with a minor in Communications. Before moving to Pensacola she worked as Director of International Admissions for the University of Tampa. She has two children who both attend MSP.
Reese Foret Verschueren
Elementary and Middle School Art Teacher – Mont. Drive.
She has been with MSP since 2001. She has an AA in Early Childhood Education and has worked with children since 1980. She is married and has two children and three grandchildren.
