Lower Elementary Classes


Emily Chamblin
Teacher – 6-9 South Classroom.                                                     Emily has been working in the field of education since 2001.  She holds a BA in History and Political Science from University College Dublin and Loyola University, New Orleans.  Her teaching experience includes several years in the Sudan and South Korea as well as in Pensacola.  She completed her Masters in Education at the University of West Florida.  Emily is certified to teach in the State of Florida, and began teaching at MSP in 2011.

Beth Leitermann
Teacher – 6-9 North classroom
She has two children who have graduated from MSP. She first got involved with the school by being a parent volunteer. She has taught science for 9-12, been a 9-12 classroom teacher, and has acted as a substitute. She holds a degree from the University of Wisconsin.

Sarah Skipper
Teacher – 6-9 South classroom
Sarah completed her AMS intership in the 3-6 West Class. She has three children, 2 attend MSP. Sarah graduated from UWF with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and Exceptional Child education. She has taught in public school for three years. She fell in love with the Montessori philosophy and has completed her AMS 3-6 teacher training.

Alisen Spear
Elementary Coordinator, Campus Coordinator and Teacher
6-9 North classroom. She has been with MSP since 1998. She graduated from UWF with a BA in Elementary Education in 2000. She has an Elementary I Montessori Certificate from MTEC/San Francisco in 2003.
